The Canon BP-828 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack is compatible with the XF405, XF400, XA15, XA11, XA35, XA30, XA25, XA20, Vixia HF G50, Vixia HF G40, Vixia HF G30, Vixia HF G21, and Vixia GX10 camcorders. This replacement battery has a capacity of 2670mAh and an output voltage of 7.4V. Being compact and lightweight, lithium-ion batteries can be charged or discharged at any time without experiencing a memory effect. The charging duration is approximately 405 minutes when using the camcorder and around 260 minutes with the optional CG-800D battery charger. Please note that charging times may vary based on the initial charge level of the battery and the surrounding temperature. It is recommended to charge the battery within a temperature range of 50 to 86F, as it will not charge if the ambient temperature or the battery pack’s temperature falls below 32F or exceeds 104F.
